
ITINERARY
July 4-12 2025
Day 1: Friday, July 4
Arrive to Antigua, Guatemala
Travel day! We will meet as a group in Antigua. Antigua is a beautiful old colonial city bursting with culture.
Everyone will be arriving at different times today, but we will do our best to coordinate similar flight times. Private transportation will be arranged for you from the airport in Guatemala City to our hotel in Antigua (1.5hr drive).
We will check into our hotel, get settled and start the journey off with a group dinner at a local restaurant in Antigua.


Day 2: Saturday, July 5
Explore Antigua
Let’s explore Antigua! Today we will head out on a walking tour with a local guide to get to know the history and the local cuisine. After dinner we will find some live music and dancing for a fun night in Antigua before our journey to the lake the next day.
Day 3: Sunday, July 6
Travel to Lake Atitlan
Breakfast, Transport to Lake Atitlan (3 hr drive) San Marcos la Laguna and our retreat center. We will spend the afternoon grounding after the long journey and connecting to the forest, lake and one another.


Day 4: Monday, July 7
Sunrise Hike + Art Village
Today you will have the option to wake up early for a sunrise hike above the lake. After our beautiful hike we will venture to a neighboring village famous for its art before heading back to our sacred space for intentional practices, connection and rest.

Day 5: Tuesday, July 8
We will wake up in the forest above Lake Atitlán with some morning movement and meditation followed by a nourishing breakfast. We will have the option to hike to a nature preserve where we can jump into the lake and relax by the water.
The late afternoon will be open in case anyone wants to book a massage, use the sauna or reiki session at our retreat center. We will have an evening journey session workshop and connection circle after dinner.

Mayan Fire Ceremony and plant medicine journey
Day 6: Wednesday, July 9
Integration
This will be our last full day at the beautiful lake Atitlan. We will have an integration circle to process anything that came up for us during ceremony and we will have time to really let go, connect and nourish ourselves before our travels the next day.

Day 7: Thursday, July 10
Today we have the opportunity to experience and participate in a traditional Mayan Fire ceremony with an indigenous Mayan healer. This ritual fosters connection, gratitude, and spiritual expansion, guided by the transformative energy of fire. We will have the option to participate in a gentle plant medicine experience during this ceremony with mushrooms to connect on a deeper level to our inner fire.

Iximche Mayan Ruins & Closing Circle
Day 8: Friday, July 11
After breakfast we will check out from our beautiful retreat center and say goodbye to the forest and the lake. We will begin our journey back to Antigua, but first stopping by the Iximche ruins to connect with this ancient site and hold our closing circle.
We will have a final group dinner at our hotel in Antigua and say our goodbyes as everyones departure times may vary the next day.
Day 9: Saturday, July 12
